Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic
Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic is the competent authority of the state administration for:
a) labour-law relations, civil service employment relations, legal relations in the performance of civil service in public interest and legal relations of elected officials of the local self-government;
b) occupational safety and health protection;
c) labour inspection;
d) coordination of the employment strategy, and labour market policy;
e) social insurance, old-age pension saving scheme and supplementary pension saving scheme;
f) state social benefits, social services, supporting of the social inclusion of the persons with a disability into the society and assistance in material need;
g) social and legal protection of the children, social curatorship and coordination of the family policy.
Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic provides a state supervision over performance of social insurance and performs a supervision over performance of the social services.
